As experienced musicians, lighting programmers, and touring professionals, we have extensive knowledge of using audio playback systems such as Ableton, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Pioneer CDJs, and more to create mesmerizing shows.
OUR PROGRAMMING PROCESS
For years, Duck Lights has developed a way to program light shows that prioritizes standardization, efficient workflows, and decentralization. To quantify what this means, our team on average creates an arena-level show in less than half the time as a single programmer, and with greater precision and complexity than most. By working with us, you get the assurance and support that a full team of individuals is here to protect your production investment.
1: INITIALIZE
Show file is created and music files are processed. Lighting Director creates the lighting synopsis, which is the overall creative outline of the entire show.
2: STAMP
With experienced musicians, we convert all notable song sections, hits, and accents into lighting sequences.
3: PROGRAM
Our programmers create programming for each song that is visually captivating and fitting based on the creative direction of the show.
SHOW OPERATION
We offer two operation solutions: Touring Lighting Operators, or our Plug & Play Light Control System.
REMOTE PROGRAMMING SERVICES
Life as a touring Lighting Director is hard, and we try to make the process as painless as possible. Instead of cramming in programming sessions on a cramped bus or flight, our team of programmers can pre-program for the next venue or festival remotely.
