OUR STORY

While touring in his own band, Lee Duck wanted an intense light show to help set his band apart. Like a lot of other musicians, he was dissatisfied with the abundance of seemingly uninspired concert lighting that often lacked synchronization to the musical timing. Constrained with a small budget, Lee developed his own lighting system that tightly choreographed the lighting to music.

Thus, Duck Lights was born.

Over the course of the company’s history, the Duck Lights team has steadily grown into a small but effective group of tech-savvy lighting and music professionals, who enjoy creating impressive visual productions for touring, livestreams, and music videos. We have worked with artists such as Zedd, Angels & Airwaves, King Princess, Kim Petras, Halsey, Billie Eilish, Bishop Briggs, K-Flay, Oliver Tree, and SHAED delivering impactful shows for their fans.

Our focus on automation and teamwork allows us to streamline the experience from conception to performance: designing, programming, and delivering remarkably intricate & synchronized shows from clubs to arenas. Our main office, studio, and warehouse is based about 8 minutes East from the heart of Downtown Los Angeles.
